3D Na’Tee, a dynamic talent from New Orleans, Louisiana, has garnered significant comparisons to lyrical pioneers like Nas from respected publications like TIME Magazine. She began her career with powerful mixtapes that reflect her challenging upbringing, using her music as a compelling storytelling medium.

Her breakthrough came in 2011 with the self-directed video “Switch,” which attracted nearly 3 million views across all platforms and caught the attention of major labels like Def Jam, Interscope, and Timberland’s Mosley Music Group. Her acclaimed project, The Coronation, showcased her lyrical depth and introspective narratives, solidifying her status as a leading voice in the underground rap scene.

Since then, Na’Tee has been featured in top media outlets and has performed at prestigious festivals worldwide, captivating audiences with her dynamic live shows. Sharing stages and collaborations with artists such as Missy Elliot, Lauryn Hill, and Lil Wayne highlight her versatility and influence.

Impressed by her talent and business acumen, Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind signed her after she appeared on Sway in The Morning with Kendrick Lamar, making her a non-exclusive content creator for All Def Digital/Universal Music Group. In 2016, she independently released her LP, The Regime, which debuted at #15 on Apple’s iTunes Top 100 Charts, featuring the self-directed video “Maria,” which garnered over 17.5 million views across all platforms.

In October 2019, her music was featured on the soundtrack for Black and Blue, starring Naomi Harris and Tyrese Gibson, opening doors for her as a songwriter and vocal producer for major Hip Hop and R&B artists in 2020. She also directed and edited music videos, including “I Wanna Dance” for award-winning vocalist Kelly Price.

In 2023, Na’Tee expanded her creative scope by joining the cast of Wicked City: Season 2 (AMC Networks) and releasing her debut film, Uptown Butterfly, accompanied by an album of the same name. This work represents her most vulnerable release to date, featuring collaborations with artists like Kelly Price, Bink, and HaSizzle. In 2024, she was honored by the city of New Orleans for her contributions to hip hop and currently serves on the Associate Board of Directors for The Universal HipHop Museum, a 65 million dollar development in New York City, dedicated to the preservation of the history of Hip Hop. In the same year, 3D Na’Tee launched the web series Gas or Trash, embarking on a journey across the U.S. to uncover the hottest artists in each city. This initiative underscores her commitment to inspiring independent creatives and amplifying emerging talent in the music scene. With these new endeavors, Na’Tee is poised to solidify her place among the most innovative and respected emcees in the industry.
